Justin’s motivation behind his new build came from getting back into riding bikes as an adult. “I raced BMX as a kid for years and years and, now at 36 years old and a father of two, my kids are showing interest in mountain biking and bikes in general, my wife also.” Justin met his friend and bike builder Joey Isbell through the purchase of his first bike last year in 2020. “As I started to toss new parts at an already sound bike Joey made the suggestion of doing a fully custom build, as I had approached him about a downhill bike. We both kicked around a ton of options and finally decided an enduro build would be the best all-around bike. We wanted to build something that would perform just how it looked, like a million bucks. I think Joey achieved every bit of that. The Ride Cyclery went above and beyond on this dream build of mine. This Kona Process X has opened my eyes to an entirely new category of bike.”
